Location

Soverato, an ancient fishing village, famous for its white beaches and the turquoise shades of its sea: natural guardian of numerous archaeological finds, and of protected species such as the pipefish, the giant mollusc Tonna Galea and in particular the Hippocampus Hippocampus and the 'Hippocampus guttulus, the only two specimens of seahorses present in the Italian seas and symbol of the splendid town. The bay of Soverato, known as the "Pearl of the Ionian", has for years boasted the conquest of the Blue Flag thanks to its commitment to environmental protection and eco-sustainable practices.
